Hey everyone,
I understand that the USC App is due pretty soon for scholarship (12/11), but I have a few questions about the teacher evaluation and the transcript request form?

Are they due at the same time you submit your application? Or do they allow you some time after the application deadline so you can fax it in?

Also, stupid question, but the Teacher Evaluation form is the same thing as an Letter of Rec for USC, right?

I'm pretty sure that everything has to be postmarked by 12/11. I remember seeing it on their website. Also, they say that if they don't get it by then, then the recs they receive won't be a priority meaning it'll delay your app??

Thanks, also, if you don't mind my asking, how many teacher evaluations did you send? My counselor says that two teacher evaluations and one from the counselor should be enough for all colleges...thanks again!

for USC, i believe only one rec is enough
i guess it can be counselor OR a teacher
cus for other schools, there is a specific school report form,
but for USC i only saw 'counselor report or teacher' something like that
i just had my counselor and one of my teachers giving rec's cus i wasnt sure

Also, if one has taken the December SAT, are they obligated to send in their previous test score reports with the score report form, or can they just send the score report with the score report form around January? thanks again!

just send teh score straight from SAT or ACT....you don't need the score report form if you do that.

and the official transcript doesn't actually have to be postmarked by 12/11. I called my USC admissions counselor today and they said that they just need it to be SOON after 12/11, maybe like a week or less after.

Actually, I asked the admissions office if I could just score report my scores, but they said they'd prefer to have a Student Score Report in addition to the official one--go figure.

If USC says something must be "postmarked by the appropriate offices" by December 10th, does that mean THEY must receive it by the 10th, or that I must ensure the post office has it post marked saying the 10th or earlier? I'm asking because I want to know if it needs to GET there by the 10th, or be SENT by the 10th?

It has to have been sent by then, meaning marked and given to a post office. (Since we're lowly students and have no control over the post office's antics)
