USC to NYU

Hi all.

I'm a freshman at USC, majoring in English. I am from NYC originally and for personal and academic reasons wish to return to NY. I want to apply as a trasfer to NYU, I will have about 32-34 credits by the end of this year and so far have a combined gpa of 3.7-3.9. SATs are 1370, although hs gpa is not so good (3.3?- but on a bi-curriculum). I have 3 family alumni at NYU, and I did not apply as a freshman. What do you think my chances are?

may i ask what is wrong with USC?

I'd say you're definetly in. Don't even worry about it.

Nothing is really wrong with SC. Its a great school, most people love it. it depends on how involved you are and how dedicated and focused you are--you can test yourself. i'm involved in greek life, and that is amazing, I highly recommend it, as i recommend the school.
