USC to Offer Persian Languages

<p>Those look like very interesting courses. And I was in no way suggesting that Berkeley does not have high standards, just that in the case of granting AP credit, USC’s standards are even higher yet.</p>

<p>Yes, I am am proud USC mom, but I also received my undergraduate degree from one of California’s fine public universities - as did my husband - and one of my scholarships was for traveling up and down the state to college fairs recruiting students for the UC system. As a result, I am far more versed in the qualification, application, financial aid and AP credit policies for the UCs than I ever will be for USC, and I am often the lone voice on this forum suggesting to students considering paying twice as much for USC that the UC - at half the cost - is often the better choice. When costs are similar, however, I am in a good position to clearly see the benefits of attending USC.</p>

<p>I am so glad to know that your aversion to inserting any “tone” in posts means you did not include a “tone” in your posts #4 or #9.</p>
