So my old rejection PDF from May is gone…just says no messages but I still don’t have an intent to enroll box or anything

my old PDF rejection is still on USC connect but my restrictions updated on Oasis today (7/10).

I now have an intent to enroll box on my connect but still no PDF. I hope it’s a good sign…

@skhalafi I think that is a very GOOD sign! When did your restrictions update?

@jazz49 yay now I wish I knew which semester it’s for lol and I actually didn’t apply for financial aid so I’ve never been able to access oasis sorry!

@skhalafi congrats! I believe OASIS says which semester you got in for and from my understanding it is not just for students who applied for financial aid. You tried your student ID and birthday (mm/dd/yy)?

Did everyone else have their restrictions updated? Mine updated the day after I submitted my appeal (6/19) then again yesterday (7/10). Praying for good news but trying to not get my hopes up!

Just got my appeal rejected via email. Maybe next year, maybe not. Good luck to every one!

@Jazz49 My restrictions haven’t updated yet. I’m also hoping for good news next week. Did your Stars IAR update?
@erickmorales Sucks man. Good luck to wherever you go.

@MarshallBound Nope, the rejection wave hit me…again; I got the email a few hours ago. Good luck to you though! I hope you get in, keep me posted.

@Jazz49 Damn… Best of luck where ever you go. Still haven’t heard from my counselor today, but I sure am hoping for good news :).

Hey, so just out of curiosity, did everybody’s restrictions on Oasis update twice (once when sending in the appeal and another time before a decision was made)?

My restrictions updated on 7/14 but my counselor said he had received my appeal well before that date, so I’m not sure what to think of that. Regardless of that fact, I’m prepared for possibly bad news since nearly two whole days have passed and that’s what happened when my restrictions updated and I got rejected the first time :-SS

Also, is our admission counselor supposed to just email us personally if the appeal was rejected? Thanks for any help guys.

@CoutCin Jazz49’s restrictions updated twice. Once was the day after she submitted the appeal, and the second updated after a decision was made, which sadly was a rejection. I don’t mean to be negative, but since you are asking for our opinions, I have to say that you might have gotten rejected. Your SIAR should update within the next 2 days of your restrictions update.

Yes, your admission counselor should also e-mail you if the appeal was rejected.

Still waiting patiently… [-O<

Me too. It’s definitely been awhile since my restrictions updated, so I definitely agree with what you said; I’m expecting another rejection, but my counselor is sure taking his time to let me know. I still have a tiny morsel of hope that perhaps my restrictions could update again and maybe some other awesome Oasis activity could get going, but I’m not exactly counting on it :-S

I’m contemplating about whether or not I should e-mail my counselor…

If you haven’t heard from them in awhile, you definitely should just check in to see if there’s progress I emailed mine last week or so and he stated that a decision would be made within two weeks, so I’ll wait until it’s closer to August to check in again. I’m guessing if he doesn’t get back to me before August though, then it’s pretty much a sure thing I didn’t get in, but I’d like to know anyway

Is anyone else still waiting on their decision? Hopefully no news is good news so far for this case.

I’m still awaiting for a positive response :)…

@serena909 Did you get any response yet?
