USC Transfer-Class of 2019 (2016 Year)

Hi. I didn’t get the chance to apply to USC and I’m not 100% sure that I would’ve been admitted for this fall, but I recently visited and fell in love with the school. I’m attending IU Bloomington next year and would like to know if anyone else has transferred from IU to USC. I’m also wondering what I should do next year to leverage me above other transfer applicants. Besides getting a solid GPA, what else should I do to increase my chances. I’m working on a business/app/tech startup right now that I’m hoping will increase my chances in getting admitted to marshall for entrepreneurship/computer science. I’ll edit this post if needed, but please let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

@amessi12 USC is really big on wanting to know that YOU really want them! So my suggestion would be to try to visit with an appointment so it’s on record as many times as possible, stay in contact via email with Deans or your area reps etc. I know one of the ppl in admissions for athletics at USC and when she was giving my daughter tips and advice, that was a biggie! It definitely wasn’t community service hours! The start-up business is awesome too but let them know without a doubt that you want to be there!

@stephrass Thanks. Still applying. I’ve tried to get in touch w/ my rep but haven’t been able to get a ahold of her via email or phone. I should try someone else.
