To anyone else who has gotten accepted as a transfer undergrad student to USC, any idea when we will find out exactly what we got credit for from our previous schools? I figure they will send us a document listing the classes we got credit for but I haven't gotten anything yet...

you should call and check specifically what came in for you...make sure any/all classes that can come in, do so

i had a one or two i had to petition if i remember correctly

double check it for sure

gl

I had to go down to the articulation office to get them to add my ap courses to the transfer credit report (see OASIS)

Basically, you'll probably deal with it at orientation.

EDIT: I suppose you should check out OASIS at www.usc.edu/oasis, enter your id # and pin and look under transfer credit report.

The transfer credit report most likely won't show on OASIS. I think they wait for you to get to orientation before they tell you the good news (all your courses transferred) or the bad news (hardly any of them transferred). I know I got my report at orientation and thankfully, all my courses did transfer. I couldn't previously check it on OASIS, so they might not allow you to check it there unless you've gone to orientation or have started school already.

Well, I just got accepted so I don't think I have a PIN number yet. I have my USC ID. Is there somewhere I can go to get my PIN number? And USC can't seriously expect you to just go to orientation with no idea about your credits, can they? I'm a junior. What if they only give me credit for like half my classes?

your pin is initially set to some combo of your birthday, like MMDDYY I think.

so if you're born on March 17th, 1988 it's 031788, etc.
