<p>I have decided to start this thread, so others can look during this year and following years and see what the stats were for those who got in and those who didn't, and can have a sort of starting point of determining their chances. I am doing this simply because I found last year's thread useful, and hope that I can contribute to this year's thread not only for those applying this year, but also for those applying in future years.</p>

Job/Work Experience: worked not my school’s bio lab, and cashier… avg of 20 hrs/wk every semester except spring 10

<p>@SFwarrior25: I think it depends on whether the college requires a supplemental application or not. For example, I applied to Roski, and I know that they have to review my portfolio and letters of rec, as well as my UG application. So I think most of the Roski decisions should come out at around the same time. It makes sense, but I’m mostly speculating.</p>

I had another from my elementary school principal (she also served as superintendent and has a PHD) which contained the line “Casey is the most intelligent student I’ve ever come in contact with”. I can only imagine that recommendation helped A LOT!

Out of high school, the best school I was accepted to was UC Riverside. I wouldn’t have had a chance in hell of getting into USC. I decided to turn everything around in college and I did.
