USC Transfer Decisions 2013

Has anyone heard anything on transfer decisions? Do they all come out at the same time? Will there by any out before May 15?

No, My son did receive a request for his spring grades today though,
Anyone out there know what this means? Is this a good sign?

Transfer decisions have not yet begun to arrive. They typically begin to arrive on or near June 1st.

Transfer applicants will receive one of three possible notifications by June 1st: Acceptance, rejection or an SGR - spring grade request - as ocmom’s son has received. An SGR is not exactly good or bad news - the GOOD news would be acceptance and the BAD news would be rejection, so an SGR means you still have a chance. Decisions for those receiving SGRs continue to arrive through mid July.

TONS of info here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/1349313-official-usc-2013-transfer-thread.html

Good luck!

Thanks alamemom - I don’t know how that thread escaped my attention!

Acceptance packages have not yet arrived in mailboxes, but posters on the http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/1349313-official-usc-2013-transfer-thread-176.html have begun reporting that enrollment commitment boxes have appeared for some applicants.

Remember, those who received SGRs may hear as late as mid-July, so do not give up hope if an enrollment commitment box has not yet appeared for you.

Good luck!
