Hey guys!
I’m planning to transfer to USC next year as a sophomore.
I want to transfer as a health&humanity/psychology major. I’m so confused as to what classes to take and I’m scared that USC might reject me if I don’t take the right courses.
If anybody has transferred to Dornsife for a BA or if knows any info, please help me.
These are the classes I plan to in my freshman year:
Fall - General Biology (Major Req and also GE) , Intro to Psychology (Major req), Intermediate Algebra (Quantitive reasoning GE & transfer math requirement) & English composition.
20 quarterly units or 13.5 semester credits.
Winter - General Chemistry (Major req & GE), Psychology, & English Composition
15 quarterly credits or 10 semester credits.
Spring - General Biology 2, General Chemistry 2, Psychology, & Statistics.
20 quarterly credits or 13.5 semester credits.
By the end of freshman year, I’ll have around 37 credits. I’ll also be done with around 5-6/8 GE requirements, first year English requirement, and transfer math requirement.
Also, I have a 30+ on the ACT & 700+ score on bio subject test.
Please let me know if I’m on the right track! I’ve emailed my counsellor but it wasn’t of much use.
Thanks in advance!
