USC Transfer Question

Hey everybody,

I am a current freshman that goes to a California community college. I decided to give a shot and apply to USC now as a sophomore as a Business Administration major taking my high school records. http://www.marshall.usc.edu/undergrad/buad/admissions/transfer Here it says I must have completed Calculus to be considered for admission, but I will have Calculus completed by Fall of 2016, due to me being placed into lower math. Although I completed high school Calculus

My question is, will I be auto- denied for my admission as a business administration major if I haven’t completed calculus by spring 2015? I just want confirmation that I won’t get auto denied because of not having completed Calculus yet. I will have the other writing part done, but not Calculus.

Or is that only for Marshall? I’m not quite sure how the system works at USC, whether if you are applying as a business major through the common app, is that separate from Marshall? Does Marshall act as sort of a “honors” program for existing business students? Or if you are accepted as a business major, are you auto-enrolled, and considered a Marshall student?

If it is true that I must have completed Calculus for a business major regardless of grade level, would it be best for me to apply as undeclared?

Thank you for you help.

calculus is a big part of the requirement for Marshall. I’m also applying this year as a sophomore. Started CC last fall and completed calculus 1, and I’m taking calculus 2 this spring. im not sure if you’ll be auto-denied if you dont completed calculus, but you should at least take calculus one this spring semester or show them your ap scores for calculus if you took it during high school.
