USC transfer SAT question =D

I am applying to transfer to USC for Fall 2010. As of right now, I am finished my A.A. at a local community college. My question is whether or not I should retake my SATs. The problem is that December of 09 is when the test scores expire.

Do I need to retake if they are out of date? Should I retake them anyway?

???

It depends.

If you are transferring with more than 30 units (and it sounds as though you are), they will make their admission decision based primarily on your community college work, not your high school record and SATs. You would not even need to submit your SATs.

If your SATs were very good and you would like to include them, you could either take them again to submit by the transfer deadline of Febrary 1st, or get everything together and submit your application before the end of December so that your current SATs have not expired.

Thanks for your help.
I have read that very same information, I just found it a tad unclear. The word “primarily” scares me.
I am just looking at every detail that I have control over. Wasn’t sure if sending in the application before December would hurt my chances if the SAT scores are below USC standards.
