USC transfer without articulation

If I fail to meet the requirements for the USC articulation but choose to apply, will I not be accepted off the bat?

No Offense: I don't want some ignorant "know-it-all" type to respond with a bs answer. (I know you guys are out there!) :)

But, does anyone have experience with this issue? I'm applying from a community college, I have met the req's for the UC's and have a considerable GPA. USC is a private school, so an assumption of myne is that they are open to all applicants. Any word guys?

As long as you complete English 1,2 Econ 1,2 Accounting 1,2 before Fall Admission, you will have no problem. Before I'd suggest you to finish above mentioned courses before turn in your application. They will see if you have completed above courses w/other applicants, and if they completed before you do, they have the priority of admission.

Where are you getting your information Kawasakimt.....Staiolz did not mention a major, so why would you assume those courses are going to give him priority?

Good point about major!!!

hey thanks for that info, I'm finished with the Math and English requirements, and even SOME of the articulation. I only lack the foreign language & the rest of the agreement that is incomplete. I will be applying under a philosophy major.

Thanks for your input so far, but is there any more info out there?

I believe you'll find all the info you need here: http://afaweb.esd.usc.edu/USC-AFA/upload_images/Transferring0506.pdf
