<p>I got a phone call last night from the voice teacher I want to study with at USC. She was like, "Hi, I'm really excited to talk to you! Have you gotten your acceptance letter yet?" And I was like "No....?" And she said, "Oh. Well, be looking for a letter soon!" but she said she couldn't really talk to me until I got the letter. So, this leads me to believe that they will be sooner than expected, perhaps...
I'm currently a sophomore.</p>

I currently attend Southwestern University, a small liberal arts college just north of Austin, Texas.
I don't know the prof at all--she's just a member of the voice faculty that I've heard good things about. I think I put her name down under "preferred instructor" on my music school app.</p>

<p>Nice! Oh yeah, you reminded me that one of my friends graduated from USC in music major with a Master Degree and she is currently working as a piano instructor. Music majors that I have seen around my school are also very nice people, they have a great appreciation toward many things especially to art, music and so on. Interesting!</p>

<p>does anyone know when the SIR is due for USC transfer students? i know a lot us are waiting on a grade from a needed class, and wont get those till end of May. I thought it might have been June 1st like the UCs</p>
