I think you have a decent shot at all of them!

first of thanks for replying on my post…not familiar with the second school but for usc and northeastern u should be fine. Good Ecs

Thank you for replying to my post.
I don’t know about the first two, but I know two people who got into Northeastern and I definitely think your application is stronger than their’s was.

I think you can definitely get into all the schools. SAT score may be a bit low, but the rest of your application, especially the ECs look fantastic. Best of luck!

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1857898-chances-at-theses-schools.html#latest

Northeastern would definitely be a good fit. USC I could see you getting in you’re very competitive same with UCSD but that’s hard OOS. Best of luck!

Thanks! bump

Do these schools require you to send your SAT II’s? If so they are really low and might hurt your chances.

@graceann I think I sent it in anyways, but I did get a 5 on AP Calc though.

I don’t have much familiarity with UC schools, but from what I’ve seen you seem like you have a shot at both, though UCSD may be a tad more difficult because you’re OOS. The only two places I COULD see potential snags would be test scores and volunteering. Not sure how much volunteering is even a factor, but testing wise maybe a few points higher on your SAT and subject tests would have a benefit? I think you have a good shot at Northeastern as well! Good luck!

thanks @Hopefulcynic7

I think you have a good chance for all of them. USC will be a little harder because of the high selectivity/test scores, but I’d be surprised if you didn’t get in.

Wow! You have a lot of extracurriculars! I think the admissions officers will look at those and just say, “Wow. This guy’s in.” So I think you have really good prospects!

It’s really unusual for someone to have so many extracurriculars AND a great GPA. I think your SAT scores are pretty good as well. That’s the one thing I’d work on…if you can, just try to score a little bit higher on your SAT and/or SAT Math tests. If you can get those just a bit higher, you’re pretty much guaranteed to get in.

Good job and keep up the good work! Even if you can’t get the SAT scores up, I’m sure you still have a very high chance of getting into all of those schools!
