<p>Hi, I just received acceptance into USC Viterbi as a graduate student and wanted to see how people feel about the USC Viterbi graduate program. I know it's ranked top ten amongst graduate engineering schools but I don't know how much to believe those rankings anyway. Would I go wrong with going to USC? Oh, I also got accepted into the University of Washington... I'm still waiting to hear from 7 more school... (Georgia Tech, University of Michigan, University of Illinois, University of Maryland, Texas A&M, University of Florida, UC-Irvine).... Thank you in advance!</p>
<p>I hear that the ranking of your discipline of engineering is more important than overall engineering ranking. On the other hand, I also hear that it’s all about reputation. A USC grad is still a USC grad. </p>
<p>I think it is more about whether you “fit” your advisor than the program itself since all the schools you mentioned are good schools.</p>
