I will be taking 6 AP Exams this May and I have already taken 3 AP Exams: AP Chemistry (4), AP US History (4), and AP Human Geography (4). If I, hypothetically speaking, received at least a 4 on all of the 6 exams I am taking, I can earn up to the maximum AP semester units given at USC (32 semester units). With that said, I will be attending USC Viterbi School of Engineering starting fall of 2008. Will I be able to graduate witihn 3 years at Viterbi assuming I receive at least 32 semester units in the first 3 years at USC? If not, how many semester units are required to graduate out of the undergraduate engineering program? Talking with the Admissions Office, I learned that students are required to attain G.E. credits, which one (category III) is given for the 4 on AP Chemistry Exam. How does G.E. credits work and how many of them are undergraduates required to receive to graduate out of Viterbi? Thank you so much for your time and commitment to read and response to this message.

You might want to ask this question at the USC forum.

All you have to do is look at the 4-year curriculum for your major and see if you can handle the schedule starting at the sophomore year, and adding in the classes you missed during the freshman year.

I don't think USC has a forum on either CC or USC website. I plan to work with agricultural engineering, which is a minor at USC. So which would be more ideal for my major: Civil/Environmental or Chemical Engineering? Is USC strong for these types of engineering? Thank you so much.

It's here.

I believe this sort of question was asked before, I just don't have the exact answer on top of my head.

Thanks Columbia_Student!

There aren't any chemical plants in California, so maybe you should look up the job placement for that.
