Hello, I have recently received admission from both schools, USC and BC. I really like California and Boton a lot, so the weather and city isn’t a big concern for me right now. For me it is more about the on campus social scene and academics. Personally, I don’t really like partying all that much as it is, I usually prefer one on one interaction type stuff.
Both schools are strong academically, I will be studying Finance with maybe focuses and minors on international work as working abroad has always been a dream for me.
My main questions are, which school is really better for business, and in specific finance or international business?
Is it necessary to take part in the party scene at USC? Or is not partaking still make it possible to meet a lot of people?
As a note, I am a national merit finalist, and as a result will also receive about 100k$ over my four years at USC in scholarship money.
Because of this, and the international focus, I have been leaning towards USC, but I am worried about the large greek and party scene, as well as not being clear on academic differences in the schools.
Thanks for the help!
