USC vs. Chapman vs. U Penn

Hi,
I posted a thread about my choices for college a few months (between USC and Chapman), but now that I have been accepted to U Penn, this has also become one of my choices. Here's how it plays out:

About me:
Female, from Southern California
Business and Screenwriting Major (possible Screenwriting minor instead)
Freshman- Fall 2009

USC:
Accepted to: Marshall School, Business Admin.
Financial Aid: $5,500 loans, EFC- $4,570, Rest- Scholarships/Grants, No Work Study
Have visited several times
Larger classes
The Trojan Family
Location surrounding school isn't that great
Excellent School Spirit

Chapman:
Accepted to: Dodge College, Screenwriting
Financial Aid: $10,250 loans, EFC- $2,000, Rest-Scholarships/Grants, $3,000 Work Study
Have visited several times
Smaller school= smaller class sizes, more personal attention
Film students own their work

U Penn:
Accepted to: The Wharton School, Business
Financial Aid: Haven't received yet.
Will not be able to visit due to finances before I have to make my decision.
Ivy League
Prestige/Reputation

Although USC or Chapman would be better for Screenwriting, I can't just give up U Penn! Business is my main goal, and Wharton is a great place to get an education at.

So with that information, (and anything you have to add), what is your advice on what my college choice should be?

Thanks for reading this long post and thanks for responding!

Chapman, like most told you last time, isn’t worth considering when you have USC.
The decision comes down to USC and Penn, and if Penn doesn’t kick in with financial aid, my response will be USC(like last time).

Once again its also a matter of where you want to work, USC marshall will take you FURTHER with their connections in the so cal area than Penn will in so cal. If your not interested in staying in so cal after graduation Penn will take you further.

In my opinion take Chapman out of the choices. If your passion is screenwriting and you can manage to transfer into that program at SC it is your best choice, by far.

If business is your main interest Wharton would be a great choice, providing you are given some financial aid. The area around Univ. of Pennsylvania is no better than at SC. I have been there. Overall the Wharton School is higher rated, but if you want a particular program at SC in business, such as Entrepreneurship, SC is excellent.

SC’s faculty student ratio is 1/9. Penn is 1/6.

In today’s uncertain climate I would wait until you receive the financial aid package from Penn before making the decision.

I would go for UPenn for sure. The Wharton School is amazing, and you could probably create your own screenwriting major or minor there.

I’d definitely go for UPenn, too. USC is a great school, but Wharton just blows it out of the water.

Chapman doesn’t belong in this conversation. In fact if we were talking UC Merced and Cal State Chico. I wouldn’t waste money on Chapman.

That aside, Penn if the money is there is the obvious choice. SC if the money isnt there.

If Business is your main goal, why not go to Wharton? That’s the best choice.
