USC vs CMU

I'm not sure what I'm going to major in those universities but for now, I applied for undecided for USC and Tepper for CMU.

I don't think there is any different in terms of costs and because i don't mind cold whether, that factor's out.

USC was my first choice for a long time but a lot of criticisms and the US rankings kinda discourage me from going there. Help!! :'(

while there are alot of criticisms, the only way you'll see for yourself whether you like USC or not is by scoping it out and seeing what it has that you like. Don't let the stigmas other people have stop you from going somewhere...there are always +'s and -'s at every university.

Carnegie Mellon is a very good university and probably every bit as prestigious as USC. If you have any acadmic inclination (major), you can weight the pros/cons of each school. Otherwise, you just have to focus on more general factors (campus life, housing, city life, alumni connections, etc).

CMU is very, very good for business school. Although, it is a very intense program and it's not for everyone.

USC is always underrated in the rankings. Don't worry about that part.

^^ Especially in the www.studentreview.com ratings.
