since everyone else is doing it :) anywho, I got accepted to USC with crappy financial aid ($10,000/ year with scholarships and loans) woopdi-freakin-do. Only have to pay $40,000/ year now. Wow, thank you so much. Okay, well I got waitlisted to Georgetown College, but I'm wondering, IF I got accepted to Georgetown, would it be a better fit for me? I LOVE Washington, DC, and I really like Georgetown's study abroad program, though USC has a good one, too. Study abroad is a big part of my decision, I want to go to UK and/or Scandinavia, if possible. My major will be Chemistry. I got an invitation to apply to the Thematic Option program at the USC College, and I also applied to the Freshman Science Honors program, though I had to request the app. What do you all think??

How do you feel about LA? Most people either love it or hate it. I used to live in LA, and I go back to visit about 10 times a year, so I love it. I have friends who can't stand the city.

My friend is currently a junior majoring in economics at Georgetown, and he has been studying abroad in London for the past year. He loves it. He also loves Georgetown like no other... don't insult their basketball team around him; he flips out.

From your post, I'd say that Georgetown probably is a better fit for you. I don't know how good their chemistry program is compared to USC, but it seems like you would rather go to Georgetown. Isn't Georgetown about the same price as USC, and even more w/o a scholarship there?
