I was accepted to both Marshall and Stern School of Business.
I plan to major in International Business and possibly have an emphasis in Finance. Which is the better school? Overall? Stronger connections? Thanks.

I believe Stern is number three in business and Marshall is number nine, so I would think Stern is more reputable. However NYU's lack of campus and financial aid may be a problem for you.

NYU is 3rd overall but for International Business, USC is 5th. I am not much concerned with rank, but moreso with actual academics/educational quality. NYU gave me a $7,000 per year scholarship but that is not nearly enough as it costs $47k annually.

well how much money did NYU offer you? i know most people @ nyu forum is owning like 30,000 dollars in PLUS loans or something...

how much did USC and NYU give you? for me, USC.. the weather is so much better and i like CA overall. both are good schools it's really up to your personal preference

hahaha i dont have to make this decision anymore! usc marshall all the way!!!

I'm still going to have to find $40k to pay for all expenses each year. Right now, I am solely comparing the quality of business schools.

I have to say, you have two QUALITY choices, but they are very different as to "feel" of school...have you visited? Your experience at NYU would be completely different from SC. Also, where do you want to settle? California? Then choose USC without a doubt.

i was offered around $16,000 to attend NYU for CAS, and i plan on pursuing journalism (i got into the Annenberg School for Communications at USC)... i can't decide! i'm still waiting on financial aid from usc, but 16,000 is hard to beat, especially from nyu. does anyone have any information on how the two journalism programs compare?

I don't know but USC has a good reputation for their fin aid... nyu only got 68 percent of the needs met but USC has 99 percent. Also, USC's giving me 31K grant...

I wish I got that kind of money. Should've applied for financial aid.
