@ tk21769, using revenues to compare the schools financial resources is not a very good idea… You did not even show the expenses of each school. Michigan may have higher revenues but they also may have higher expenses. (which they do) UM has revenues of about 7 billion but has expenses of about 6.7 billion. USC has revenues of 4.2 billion and expenses of 3.9 billion. Giving each school about 300 million increase.
If you compared each school’s assets minus their liabilities UM about 13 billion and USC about 8 billion. Keep in mind these numbers for UM include all three campuses.
And OP, please don’t make any sort of decision based on these numbers that would be foolish.
Hi everyone! I’m from Europe studying Finance and I am planning an exchange semester in either USC Marshall or UT Austin McCombs. Do you have any suggestions which one to choose? How is college life in either of them? Can anyone compare it with the lifestyle in European unis? I’ve never been in the US and I wonder which uni/town would be a better choice for me as international exchange student. Thanks!
@Rower1738 I didn’t find the winter cold as bad as I expected when we moved to Ann Arbor years ago for grad school (DH and I had been living in the Mid-Atlantic at the time) but what I did not expect was how little sun you get Nov-April. I had friends who suffered from SAD (seasonal affective disorder) after moving there. We absolutely loved Ann Arbor, though-- the lack of sun was literally the only thing I didn’t like about it. Of all the places I’ve lived in my 50ish years, It’s still my favorite.
