<p>After getting waitlisted at WUSTL and rejected by NU, I think it’s safe to say im losing hope in USC as well.</p>

<p>WashU is very strange in their admissions. I wouldn’t read too much into that. It appears they reject kids that are “too good” , if that makes sense.</p>
<p>Orange, I can’t believe you were good enough to be Presidential/Trustee level for USC, yet got rejected from NU…wow! 2 years ago S1 was accepted to USC (regular decison) and Northwwestern. Still waiting to hear on word either way for son 2. S2 has a more impressive resume, so logic tells me he should get into both if his brother did…but you just never know. Very nervous. I get the impression NU uses “level of interest” as a factor in their admissions and S2’s interest level isn’t that high, so I wouldn’t be too shocked if he were rejected. Still, I worry for my son…lot of pressure for him I imagine after seeing his brother get accepted everywhere he applied.</p>

<p>The rumor sounds reasonable…it would mean that the mail would come around the 27th instead of on the 1st of April</p>
