USC Will Mail Freshmen Acceptances on March 27, 2012

Congrats! One of first to hear!

Rejected! Surprised because it was considered an easy “match”. Not my daughter’s first choice by far, so we aren’t bummed … just surprised!

My mail usually comes around 10:30 AM, it is now 11:40 AM and my mailman is not here yet! D; why the torture on this important day?!

Thanks everyone! I’ll post stats after she opens and gives her ok.

Sorry to hear chessymom. Bummed for you…Really a strange year for admits in general. A lot of very deserving kids being turned down everywhere.

Congrats racedad. No the tough part, keeping that S*-eating grin off your face when she gets home but before she opens the letter.

hahaha, thanks vinceh! She asked me to let her know as soon as she received mail today. So I sent her a pic of the envelope. Still, waiting for her to open it before I get too excited tho.

Good luck to everyone today!!!

Ugh my mailman is always here by 12… The day my math teacher tells me ill just be marked present so I can skip class to check the mail (he’s a big Trojan fan) my mailman still isn’t here!

racedad, doesn’t the envelope say “You’re in!” on the outside or something?

No mail here yet (northern CA). USC is one of my son’s top choices, but luckily not the only one he really loves. The odds of getting in this year are SO tough. Congratulations to your kid!

Thanks SJRcalderone!

The envleope is addressed top left from “Undergraduate Admissions” and “USC University of Southern California (with logo)” in the bottom left of envelope. Nothing like congrats or anything on the outside.

has anything changed on USconnect for those in?

Wow, congratulations racedad and D. All the waiting and now the answer is here.

And sorry chessysmom. Seems few admissions predictions are easy anymore. Let us know where your D decides to go.

I got in:DD But no usconnect hasnt changed for me

Mail has already been delivered today (NorCal). Nothing from USC!

Will the letter arrive tomorrow if we live in NorCal?

Gosh tomorrow is going to be such a miserable day for me in WashingtonxD In addition to me most likely getting a USC letter tomorrow; Cornell, UPenn and Claremont McKenna’s RD decisions go online after school:’(

Anyone from Southern Cal not get a letter yet? I’m in LA County and there was no USC letter, acceptance or decline, in the mail. very confused, concerned, and stressed out. Seems like others from the county already got some notices.

My status changed to: The University of Southern California is pleased to offer the ability of students to receive online messages regarding the status of their application. However, all decision notifications are made via postal mail.

Status not available

This is so frustrating…

I can’t be the only one who went onto USConnect and at first when reading “The University of Southern Calfiornia is pleased to offer…” thought that it was an acceptance, but then just realized it was about students receiving online messages about their app status and that all decisions are by mail…

I live like 15 mins away from USC, and didn’t get anything.

In Orange County, 40 miles from USC. Nothing yet.
