Hi, I'm a junior in high school and interested in majoring in TV production. I know that USC has a great cinematics program and want to know what it takes to get in and if anyone else has gone to USC for videography. I was thinking of going straight for my masters in Film and Television Production. My high school has an video production program with the latest cameras and editing software that I feel like I'm prepared for any college program and I'm also involved a lot in the school, but I just want some more opinions on USC and what its like!

Take a look at the USC board: there is a thriving discussion of cinematic arts hopefuls there- And… the best part, if you do undergrad there you won’t need the masters- you will be very well trained for your career. Most undergrads do NOT get a masters if they have gone through a rigerous undergrad film and television production program. Those that do go for a masters usually majored in something else and need the masters to acquire the film skills.
