And how is the international financial aid? Do international students even get it or..?

USC is a Football school. :)

Lots of international students go there. Especially from Asia.

USC has in recent years become very competitive and respected for academics. It’s not just a football school anymore.

Considering the cost and value of higher education very few students would want to attend a complete party school in preference for academics, because of that there are very few “big/ true party schools” though some schools have/ had before overtime adapt that name. Most recognized universities may have a large party scene but not a party school.
USC is a prestigious school thats really good in many sports.

I’d disagree. The top US News colleges only represent a small fraction of all college students. There are plenty of students who want to go to college just to party.

Paige,

I don’t know USC’s expectations are when it comes to accepting applicants doing the British system, but I do know your GCSEs aren’t stellar. What major do you plan on applying as? Also, USC does not give financial aid to internationals but they do give merit based scholarships that could cover from one quarter of the tuition to all it, depending on how high your GPA and test scores are.

In response to the “football school” thing - it’s SO much more than that. For example, I’m doing game design, and I’m going to USC because it has the #1 game design program ( [Top 8 Undergraduate Game Design Programs](2023 Top Game Design Schools | The Princeton Review) ).
The engineering school itself is also very highly ranked.
