USC's Resident Honors Program

S. received a letter asking him to apply USC's early entrance (skip the senior year), the Resident Honors Program. Does anyone know how prestigious this program is? What are the advantages to get into college as a HS junior?

A few of the regular posters here have done RHP, hopefully they will check in and see your question soon. In the meantime, here is last year’s RHP thread - it might have some useful information for you. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/822493-rhp-2010-a.html?highlight=rhp

Good luck!

I received the letter as well, and am curious to know the stats of the average admit (I’m guessing their listed “2050 minimum” is the very bare minimum?)

On the website it states 2200 or so is the average

Please read the thread using the link posted above by alamemom. Most of the admitted last year had SAT scores of 2200 - 2300.

In the letter, it states that SAT or ACT is required. Does anyone know if SAT IIs are required?
