<p>I'm really interested in USD for Fall '08. I'm all the way from the Northeast - can anyone help me with what living in Southern Cali would be like? I'm used to "move-it-or-loose it" Boston (cloudy day everyday) so some help would be much appreciated. Thanks.</p>

<p>From teh city and the campus... I always get a feeling of "maximus Chillingness"
basically i always felt that it was so laid back.......</p>
<p>Yes I ve head you will have to work your ass off..... but there is no place i would rather be... than in a city (san diego) where the average temp is 70.5 degrees a years...... go to a college where you can go to the beach any day you want.......</p>
<p>I dont know what Boston is like.......but just as in the movie "The Anchorman" -San Diego is the best city on Earth!<br>

<p>That sounds awesome. Yeah, Boston is really - cold (temperature-wise) unless of course you're meeting people who go to college there from out-of-town. I'm trying to wrap my mind around why everyone says USD is such a "small" school. My suburban high school is 300 kids, and I don't see how 5,000 is anywhere near small. Is it just small for a university?</p>
<p>I don't think that USD is that small. On sites like Princeton Review.... it's actually classified as a Medium School. It's obviously not a big public school, but it's about average for private schools, and a lot bigger than LAC's.</p>
<p>Well that's good to hear. Any advice on going to USD? Things you like, things you don't like? How are the Communications and International Relations Depts?</p>
