<p>I was accepted into USD(University of San Diego) and LMU(Loyola Marymount University). I want to major in biology(pre-med). Which school is better in terms of academics? To be specific, which science program is better? which will prepare me more for med school? I am really looking forward to college but I need help deciding which to go to.</p>

<p>I think both are good schools, and both have a fair number of biology majors. You can look at their Common Data Sets (by googling the school name and “common data set”) to see an overview of, for example, the average SAT scores for the incoming classes and the number of majors in each field. </p>
<p>Part of the decision for you may come down to cost and location (LA vs San Diego - very different areas).</p>
