usd transfer 2017

@egm1712 – Sorry for the confusion, but that’s incorrect. My application was complete 4/01/17 with the mid-term transfer report you mentioned. USD does require final grades, however they don’t require it to make a decision. USD admissions deferred my admission so they can review my grades further as soon as I submit a screenshot of my final grades.

Thanks @ellesurrey ! I emailed them and they told me to send them a screenshot of my final grades once they are available. So now all I have to focus on is doing well on all of my finals this week!

Hey guys, I late applied and got in a couple of weeks ago and I will be attending in the Fall. I’ve been looking into housing both off and on campus and I’m just trying to see what your guys experience has been so far with finding affordable housing near campus or if everyone is just going to stay on campus. Either way I’m paying for it, just trying to see which is most affordable/less of a pain in the a** to have to go through. Thanks, and congrats to everyone who has been accepted and is attending in the fall.

Also kind of what is considered average around campus in terms of rent. If anyone knows that

Weirdly got admitted today before sending my final grades.

In any case, I’m also curious about housing; need to save as much money as possible if I’m going to this school. Any tips would be helpful.

I got accepted today too before sending in my final grades! super weird but I’d rather not question it lol. Anyhow, congrats! @ellesurrey

@lynjobes Nice to hear your daughter is biochem! I’ll be transferring here for bio too!

Ok guys, I just read something that absolutely terrified me. On USD’s transfer agreement, it states “All courses transferred to USD are transferred for unit credit only and are not calculated into a student’s GPA.”

Isn’t this like, a HUGE no no for medical students? In terms of prerequisites not being CR/NC classes?

Would really appreciate a response!
