<p>Don’t worry about it man, it is what it is. If you hear about people with lower stats getting in, it’ll just make you feel ****ty. I think most schools rank their waitlists so whether or not you get in is based on what number you are and how many accepted people don’t attend.</p>

<p>There could be a lot of reasons. A decent essay to you might have been unoriginal or boring to whoever was reading it, idk. I’ve heard of some people calling the admission office and just straight up asking why they were waitlisted…but I don’t know if they were successful in getting an answer. </p>
<p>I applied to USD and got in. My GPA is lower than yours but I had a 32 ACT.</p>
