<p>Hello, son will be a returning sophomore for 2014-2015. We submitted our FAFSA figures manually without using the DRT. We also submitted the required CSS with IDOC packet. The FAFSA was selected for verification. The information on the FAFSA is correct. We do have 2 schedule C's, a K-1 and also an HSA. The DRT will probably not be available for at least a few more weeks. Should we go in and link the FAFSA with the DRT when it becomes available, or should we just leave it alone and wait for the college to verify the FAFSA with the CSS and IDOC packet?</p>
<p>Use the DRT. Either the DRT or a tax return transcript is required for verification. Verifying with tax return copies isn’t valid anymore which is what the school would be doing if they used the IDOC info.</p>
<p>Thank you. And I learned from reading your posts not to correct the DRT tool if it changes my figures. Now if the DRT tool would just become available. It’s been 10 days now. :(</p>
