Useful BA Degree.

So, I came here looking for some help. I was denied into one of the business school's I was looking at and will probably end up at a liberal arts college doing a BA. I know there is a wide variety of degrees, as varied as my interests are. In your opinion, what are some of the more useful BA degrees?

BA in mathematics or physics

Hmm, the success stories I know of that started with a BA also ended with a PhD. I was thinking of economics, math, and physics, two areas where BSes are also common and employers may not appreciate the difference between the two.

Math majors are very versatile. Good thing our society doesn’t emphasize the value of mathematics, thus creating a greater demand…

Economics is pretty versatile & useful. You can go the math/engineering route, the poli sci/public policy route, or the business route depending on what you are interested in. It just depends on whether Economics is in the business college at your school or not.

Math is the most versatile major because you can go almost anywhere with it.

Mathematics, teaching, accounting, business, law, medical school, computer science, physics, economics, and much more
