Hello. I really have to read some books that would improve my reading - both vocabulary and reading strategies. Could you tell me some interesting books?

Nabokov has an incredible vocabulary. Check out his books. Lolita, Pale Fire, Pnin, etc.

Well Nabokov is a Russian novelist so his books are adapted to English? Isn't better to read some books made by English or American writers. I'm telling that because I'm an Bulgarian and I haven't read many English books. Thanks - I'm going to search for some of Nabokov's books.

PS. Nabokov wrote his first nine novels in Russian, then rose to international prominence as a master English prose stylist.
So what I wrote before it's not a problem? Is Lolita interesting and fascinating

I haven't read it, but I think Frankenstein is often recommended as a book having lots of SAT vocab.

Any other suggestions? I’d order some books so I’ll be glad if you tell me some other useful book. I don’t really like fantasy books like Terry Prattchet’s for example.

Do you thing reading books is more useful for passages than doing some exercises in Barron’s, McHills, RocketReview ?

Anna Karenina by Tolstoy is the best book i have ever read

Nothing beats Pride & Prejudice. Ever.
