Not exactly true. Many engineering firms prefer those with a Bachelor’s or Master’s over someone with PhD; since jobs in engineering require finishing large projects in a timely manner, a researcher isn’t necessarily the best choice.

<p>Haha. Also real engineering is learned on the job, not at school, so there really is not a need to go for a PhD. Hence, the importance of internships.</p>
