<p>I have been admitted to USF and I just got a scholarship notification for 8K. Wow, didnt expect that. Im going to go take a look at the university, can anyone give me any insight into the good the bad and the ugly? I would also like to know if anyone can comment on the nursing school.</p>

<p>I’m not a nursing student, but the Nursing College enjoys a good reputation and it can’t hurt it being part of USF Health and all of its affiliated medical and health programs, and also with all the established hospitals nearby. It is difficult getting admitted to the nursing college without having outstanding grades in pre-admission course work. Congrats on being accepted to USF!</p>
<p>If you do get a chance to visit campus soon, make sure you get out of your car and walk all around campus–you get a much better perspective of the school walking than from looking out car windows! Hop on a Bull Runner shuttle bus if you get tired of walking and talk to students on the bus about USF and how they like USF. Have fun when you visit.</p>
<p>I thought the USF campus was amazing! USF became my top choice. The Student center is full of school clubs, and there is a lot of student life there. :)</p>
<p>My first choice too. Beautiful campus. I grew up in tampa and as far as I am concerned USF is #1. I still haven’t heard back yet but in my particular situation I am almost thinking no news is good news.</p>
<p>I visited and the school was gorgeous! I do not attend but have heard from many people all over Florida that anything medical related from USF is at the top because of their relationship with the local hospital. It is in my top, neck and neck with UCF. Were you accepted for Fall or Spring?</p>
<p>Still waiting… I have a superscored ACT of 27 and an SAT of 1710 but…my GPA is very low. I too would like to know when you got accepted for… Fall? Summer?</p>
<p>I got accepted for Fall, my ACT is 29, SAT is 1740, and GPA is a high school weighted 3.7, my recalculated is 3.53 (if i did it right).</p>
