Hey do you guys know which apartment dorms will be available for the coming fall year for freshmen? Thanks

Hi ! Unfortunately, there is only 1 and that is Holly Apartments. It comes in 4 or 2 bedroom and it is pretty pricey. The area is a bit small but you will get use to it in a week. To get in there is really competitive so I suggest, if you haven’t already, put that on your housing contract or apply for the Wellness LLC. Last year Magnolia was available for freshmen and that was where I lived. The room size was perfect for me and I loved that it was so close to Juniper Dining. But Holly has its perks too! For example, the Marshall Center is really close like a 5 min walk so if you are ever craving some Panda, or Subway you can just run right by real quick!

Which is better for an incoming freshman, juniper-poplar or magnolia apartments?

If you can get into Cypress apartments, do it! I lived there for two years. Big rooms, big bathrooms. Lots of kitchen space

what dorms for freshamn and single - suite style?

im looking for somthing where i have my own room but still have roomates to interact with

which ones are these?
THANKS!

As far as I know, there isn’t a single-room suite style. Some of the dorms in the Andros area will give you a double room with no roommate but I would look into it first. That’s why I liked Cypress apartments, you have 3 other roommates but a room all to yourself!

Anyone have an idea when they will open the housing registration for Fall 2014? We’ve called since acceptance and they keep saying “a few weeks”

Oh ok, i mean like i want roomates but want my own room;

It can be suite style apartment whatever

So what are those callea

There is no layout like that, Robby. Either look into apartment style dorms where you have your own room along with a common area and kitchen to share amongst your roommates or get a suite style dorm where you will have a shared room with a roommate.

Ok ya i would want an apatment style. I saw holly and magnolia had what i was looking for. My own prvate room but a shared area with mates. Hopefuly im expaling this corectly! Are those available for freshman?

Also if you go for summer term is your room also the same for fall? Or do you have to move out and move into a diff dorm for then

I believe that Magnolia is strictly for Grad students.
