I'm stuck on this question of the USF application:

Are you currently enrolled or planning to complete any high school courses prior to enrolling at USF? *

When you answer yes, you are then prompted to enter each course individually. I have a few questions: 1) I'm not sure what my senior schedule will be, and I won't know until the first day of school; even then, some changes may be made during the first week of school. Does this mean I can't finish the app until I have a for-sure 100% certain senior schedule?
And 2) it asks for each course's course number. I'm not sure where to find the course number it wants.
Thirdly, what do I put for credit hours/units and credit type? I'm not sure how to answer those.

Thanks.

You can ask your counselor for the course numbers. It also says “planning to complete”, which is implying that they would like you to state what you are planning to take your senior year. As for credit hours, I would ask your counselor, unless they are classes you are dual enrolled in at a community college. In either case your guidance counselor will know. But, you have time before the app is due, so why not wait and be sure?

They are all regular/honors and AP courses… nothing dual-enrolled. But I’ll check with my counselor. Thanks.

Hi did you ever find out how to answer the credit hours/ unit question?!? i’m coming from Canada applying to USFand my counselor is just as confused as i am about that question.

Those don’t have to be exact since they will require transcripts for your classes and won’t just take your word for it. They are looking to match up your records in the system and it gives them an idea of how much should be attached to your record. Ie if you said you went to a community college but didn’t send over that transcript then they could easily see they are missing documentation.
