I know its a bit early to start a thread for class of 2023 but since USF is on rolling admissions starting October, i thought it would be a good idea plus we could all just communicate on the USF application process

@RealAcadAdvisor it’s true that admissions start in October correct ? So if i applied and USF got all of my records on Sept 20 can i still expect to get my decision this month ?
@BullsJess I emailed them asking the same thing (my records were complete on the 17th) and they said it should be the first couple rounds of notifications.
@Bmahoney13 ahh that’s so exciting USF is my top so this makes me really anxious ! I’m really excited to hear back from them hoping sometime soon before their Stampede to Success event on the 13th . Is USF one of your top choices ?
@BullsJess Nice. What do you want to major in? I’m premed too. UF is my first choice but if I don’t get in I think I’ll be at USF (can’t decide if I like UCF more tho)
@PhilM1 i plan on majoring in cell and molecular biology hbu ! And i thought about UCF earlier in the year and just thought about it and realized i liked USF a more due to smaller class sizes, more opportunities etc ! If i don’t get into USF i think i would go with FSU !
@Bmahoney13 i was considering that major too, i absolutely love their medical school ! Do u think you would participate in their premed LLC or their STEM Academy
@BullsJess I plan on majoring in biomedical sciences. I agree with you on class size which is why if only consider UCF if I also got into their honors college. I know USF has the better med school and better opportunities for that career but I didn’t like the campus as much as UCF. I can still live with it though. It’s a hard decision ngl. No clue how I’m gonna decide
Anybody who applied for software engineering or computer science?
P.S. USF recieved all my documents on the 6th of september. I hope they give out the admission offer by 15th of october. I am an international student with 3.8 GPA and 1390 on my SAT, can these stats fetch me a good scholarship?
@PhilM1 i have a friend who is in UCF’s honors college and got conditional acceptance to their medical school and she is really enjoying the honors benefits there. I as well liked UCF’s campus more but there is something about USF with the abundant research opportunities, medical school, and class sizes.
