@reste29 @PhilM1 I think scholarship too, but itâs also on OASIS. I found out I got the G&G Presidential Scholarship online, and I still havenât gotten the packet yet
@Bmahoney13 Is that the 20K one?
Where did you find what scholarships they gave you?
For those that have submitted their FAFSA, I was told by USF FAO that they will not receive financial aid information until November 12.
@reste29 Look at my previous post on here. I explained it
@PhillM1 it just says you have accepted the terms and conditions do I have to click somewhere else ??
@HHMA2019 UF is much more of a nationally recognized school. Itâs ranked the number 8 public university in the U.S. USF is a great school and has a fantastic engineering college. However, they are more of a regional school. At USF heâd have a great opportunity at finding an engineering job in Tampa, Orlando, Ft Myers etc⊠At UF, companies recruit from all over the country. They are a top engineering school. Also USF has a reputation here locally as a commuter school. Whereas for him, UF was much more of that college experience he was looking for. Yes he did get the full Bright Futures scholarship. With all that said, I do kind of wish that heâd gone to USF. Then he wouldnât have student loans, he could live at home and he wouldnât have to work to pay for his car insurance. Instead he could use his USF scholarship money to pay for it. But he is having the time of his life in Gainesville.
@reste29 I have no idea. When you click on terms and conditions itâll show you the name of your scholarship at the bottom.
Once youâre accepted, is there a way to find out if you got into the Honors college before you receive the letter in the mail?
@BullJess: you should have a decision no later than November.
@hmstudent Yes. Use this link https://my.honors.ucf.edu/fmi/webd and login like you would your UCF account
@hmstudent Oh shoot Iâm stupid sorry. https://www.usf.edu/honors/prospective-students/application.aspx You got in if youâre automatically admitted
Well, automatic admission to the Honors College is contingent upon having a 30 ACT or 1370 SAT and at least a 4.0 HS GPA as calculated by USF. @hmstudent did not include metrics.
Has anyone that has been accepted received their informational packet in the mail?
@goldenghost Nope
Not yet, it could take a few weeks.
