Applied for Psych major with 3.75 unweighted gpa, rank 121/638, (SAT: 770cr, 530math, 570 writing), 4 APs. ECās are mainly volunteering with homeless shelters and soup kitchens
Just got my letter (wasnāt home earlier), 19k scholarship 
I got accepted by email at 7:20pm yesterday (East coasf) so it looks like they were sent at the same time with the time difference. Waiting for the mail to come to check for a letter/scholarship cuz I canāt go without at least a $20000 scholarship which is asking a ton!
@SkyDiamond997 Just curious, what are your stats? Are you confident that you can get a scholarship of that amount?
@SkyDiamond997 I got a 19k off the bat, so if your stats are similar to mine, you can be close to your goal right away!
3.9 UW, 29 ACT, 3 APās, 50+ hours of ECās (mainly consist of working at zoos)

I have a 3.8 GPA (uw), 31 ACT, 5 APs, volunteer club Vice President, tons of EC is music/drama/dance and volunteering, etc and no Iām far from confident about getting that much, I think Iāll get at least 15K but itās that extra 5K that Iām hoping for that will really make the difference. I have to get tuition down to about 35K to be able to consider it
Ahhh I got in yesterday via email! Anyone know the GPAs for merit scholarships? Any help is greatly appreciated

(gpa is on the low side becuase I didnāt do so well when I took Algebra 1 and Spanish 1 & 2 in middle school. One of my parents passed away so I was going through a very hard time, talked about it in my essay).

Unless you havenāt figured it out by now, if you did not receive the acceptance email you didnāt get in right away. However this doesnāt mean that you didnāt get in period. I personally was deferred and I found out through the mail today.
I got in by email too! Are they sending an official acceptance packet by snail mail as well?

about 600 hours community service, with maybe 150 in nursing homes and hospitals, the rest are tutoring and events
i got 19k in scholarships if anyone who hasnāt received their letter yet wants to know about what to expect
Got my info packet in the mail today! 22K scholarship (if anyone wanted to know what to expect for scholarships) which means I could actually go to USF!!!
How do you know that youāve recieved a scholarship?
When you get the hard copy letter in the mail, the scholarship amount is included
in the letter

Hi all! I got in with the university scholars scholarship ($22K a year) and I thought Iād post my stats in case anyone was wondering what range they need to be in(not to brag in any sense-I think people should realize itās not just about your GPA/SAT)
GPA: 3.5/4.2 ACT: 28 - my stats are high but I think itās everything else
5 APs 2 College classes
Lots of leadership, started and am president of service club,member of many honor societies ,yearbook 4 years, science research,volunteer work ,etc lots of ecs and thoughtful supplemental essays.
