USF(FL) vs UCF

Does anyone have any advice on which of these schools I should attend? I’m a mechanical engineering major transferring to one of these schools fall 2018, If anyone has been to one of these schools and would like to give me there input itd be greatly appreciated.

Following… I was just accepted to UCF for mechanical engineering and have also applied to USF. I am OOS.

@jes3NC when did you send in your app and when were you accepted if you don’t mind me asking?

@herokid11 I sent in the app on Oct 4th and I received my acceptance by mail on Oct 27th. (I am not a transfer student.) Any word yet?

@jes3NC not yet, i contacted admissions and they said they’d be sending out transfer decisions in a few weeks. I’m not worried because I meet all the prereqs (calc 1, 2, 3, gen chem, and calc based physics 1 and 2) and have a pretty solid GPA (+3.5), but I can’t start planning really until I know for sure lol

UCF and USF have very similar engineering programs. UCF’s program is larger, while USF has a better student to faculty ratio.

You can’t go wrong picking one school over the other. So pick the one that you think is a best fit.

Thanks @Gator88NE and good luck @Herokid11 !
