What school would be more benefit to me for a finance major and have companies come in to hire after graduation? I am still waiting back from both school's on acceptance which is taking them a long time. I would like to know so I can prepare to start to reserve for housing and orientation to register for classes.

I currently have a bachelor's degree in Management and seeking another in Finance. Both schools have all of my four college transcripts where UF needs my high school transcript (need to verify if I took a foreign language) which is delaying the process since I graduated in 1994. I started the application late for UF but very early for USF and no response back yet. I hope to hear something this week from either school.

Depending on how many classes I need to graduate with a bachelor's degree in Finance. Most of my school should be paid in full by the government due to being a military combat veteran.

If the cost is largely the same, definitely UF.

Thank you both for your opinions and reply back. Still waiting back from UF on acceptance. Hope to get some good news by end of this month.

have you considered graduate programs for finance, since you have an undergrad already?

I have not consider graduate programs since my bachelor’s degree was in technical management at Devry University. I would like to get a get a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and maybe push for a Master’s.

USF…it has surprisingly put a few people into Goldman Sachs over the years and UF has not.

^^And that alone makes USF better?

UF: 54th in the country, 12th in finance.
USF: 170th in the country, not ranked in finance.

UF offers a better education in almost all fields across all public Floridian schools and even most of UM.

UF absolutely. There are companies that specifically recruit from uf because they love the grads from here. The best business education in Florida is here, at uf. And military veteran? Very nice, I have someone in my calculus class who I THINK is a reserve. Much respect to you.
