USF vs UCF

I really need help making a decision. I have been accepted to both and have visited both and they still seem about the same to me. I was wondering if anyone who has gone there or has knowledge of a few of their statistics could give me some more info. BTW, I'm hopefully majoring in Nursing, if not possibly communications or sociology or something. Thanks!

nursing is really good at USF…!! in fact all of the healthcare majors are great there. because they have moffitt on campus, along with hospitals in the area. don’t know much about UCF nursing. but here is recent news about USF nursing: [College of Nursing](http://hscweb3.hsc.usf.edu/health/now/?cat=18</a>)

When it comes to Health, USF and UF reign supreme in the State of Florida. When it comes to nursing, US News and World Report 2012 ranked USF’s Nursing program comparatively better than UCF’s (#64 vs #79). While many might say that this gap is negligible, it’s also important to consider reputation. USF is more know for it’s focus on Health and Medicine while UCF is more known for engineering. Also, USF, which is located in Tampa, has MANY hospitals within proximity to the University, which includes Moffitt, the best medical center for cancer research and treatment in Florida, in addition to Tampa General, Florida Hospital Tampa (formally University Community Hospital), Veterans Hospital, and Shriners Hospital for Children.
