USF vs UCF

I am currently trying to choose between UCF and USF. I have been accepted to both and I will be majoring in biomedical sciences, under pre-med advising. I visited UCF and fell in love with the campus, but I have heard that USF is better for pre-med. Which school do you think would better suit me? I want to make sure I get the best pre-med as possible so I can get into medical school.

What have you heard? Premed prereqs are just regular bio, chem, physics and math courses…nothing special or unique. Either school would be fine.

Look at the school that has a solid pre med faculty advisor and program to prepare you for med school and the MCAT. Check the statistics for percentage of undergrad students who are admitted to med school. Do either or both of these schools offer a committee letter of recommendation? Go to the school where you feel that you will a) get the highest GPA, lower ratio of students/professors sometimes make a difference, what are the tutoring services like b) cost the lowest amount of money.

Both schools are very good schools, I’d give them 4 stars out of 5. You can’t go wrong either way. It all comes down to best possible fit.
