I just came back from open house at University of San Francisco and i have mixed feelings. My feelings are mostly good but a little apprehensive. The campus was small and it not that impressive but maybe i want small. The day in itself was gloomy so i didnt see it at its full potential. Overall I think its a wellrounded school that really cares about its students and so forth. I want to do IR but they dont have it. They have international studies with certain "tracks" one being political. So i was thinking of double majoring with something like economics but im up for suggestions. I really love the city and USF would be the only reason i would stay in CA. After graduation i would like to be employed in San Francisco. My dilemma is will i be employed with an international studies major? I was thinking of possible career fields in San Francisco and im sort of stumped. Maybe intl trade with the ports or something like that. But i figure thats mostly business. I need advice please and any comments on this school are welcome. I noticed when you visit a school you become 100 times more anxious about weather you would be accepted or not.....

No one has anything to say? Anything really will help

I'm the only one replying to my own post but i had another question to ask. I have to submit one teacher rec. for admissions but should i submit a second? I wouldnt submit it from a teacher but maybe my local pastor. I was considering it because he has known me my whole life I went to the private school he is in charge of for K-8th grade. In regards to my high school life with him it's really only been community service hours i've served at the religious education program. Personally i'm not religious but i go to mass every week because my parents make me. He doesnt know that I only go for my parents but USF is jeseuit and all so i thought it would be a good a idea.

If good, the pastor rec couldn't hurt.

International Studies, International Relations--I don't think that it makes too big of a difference... USF is well-respected in the city, so I imagine that it will be easy to find a job in the area.
