I was wondering if using 2 literary books and 1 history reference would hinder your essay score at all. It is a bit different than the conventional 1 book, 1 history reference, and 1 current event so I was wondering.

I haven’t taken the SAT yet myself (taking it tomorrow!) but a majority of my friends have, and one of them who got a 10 on her essay used like 2 historical examples and 1 personal, even though the place where she got SAT tutoring taught them to use 1 historical, 1 personal, and 1 literature example. She said it doesn’t really matter as long as you use good examples, so you should be fine! :>

It doesn’t really matter, as long as your examples are relevant and support your main argument.

Yeah as long as your examples are relevant and further your argument, that shouldn’t be such a big deal
