Are you allowed to have more than 2 or more calculators on your desk while taking SATs, SAT IIs, or AP exams? Suppose you have special programs on each one that have different capabilities and you want to switch off calculators for different problems. Is this okay?

Only one on your desk at a time for the SATs. You could probably bring a second and claim your first died. That would get you one switch.

I had always used an HP calculator until last year, when I started using a Casio. I used two calculators the three times I took the SAT. The first time I even had both calculators on top. I never got asked any questions, but in any case I would just say the truth that I liked a certain calculator for certain things.

Why don't you ask your proctor at your test center and see what she thinks.

Riyia is right. You're only allowed to have one calc. Why don't you just put the program onto your other calculator? SAT math(I and II) isn't terribly difficult, and I don't think you need any special programs.

LOL, sorry but this is hilarious. I can imagine some terribly burdened looking kid with 10 calculators on his desk, frantically punching in numbers everywhere...

haha...when i read this title i thought to myself "should this guy even be taking the SAT's? of course you can't use more than 2 at the same time...you only have two hands!" then i started imagining this kid with a calculator by his feet doing SAT math...

that's not funny...it's sad...
