How feasible is this?

I've heard conflicting reports about the people actually checking the pictures. Can I just tell them that my friend let me use his student ticket?

some say it’s easy, some say it’s hard, but they do check photo ID! From personal experience, i tried to get into the student section using my brother’s friend’s ID, and it didn’t work (and we looked pretty similar). but who knows, maybe you’ll have better luck. they don’t purposely let non-students in though, so i don’t think just telling them that you have your friend’s ticket will work.

My friend got a sharp reprimand from a cop, and a ticket for which she had to pay a ~$50 fine I believe. This was because she thought that you were allowed to use a friend’s ticket.

From what she told me, I wouldn’t try it. But if you’ve heard otherwise, and trust taking that risk, then go for it. Perhaps if you look like your friend, then it’d be easier.

just try and go to a ticket checker who looks chill. if it’s an old, brutal looking, strict old lady, she’ll give it a check. if it’s a laid back california similar aged cat, he’ll prolly not give a rat’s patootie. it’s really half luck, half…w/e…good luck!

i did it last year and it worked no problem. as punkdude said, just go to the less strict looking ticket checkers. also, assuming at least your friend looks relatively similar to you, it might be a good idea to memorize the SID.

My floor mates did it and it was no problem.
