So the one really weak spot on my academic record is my grade in 11th grade precalculus. Since I will satisfy a-g requirements even without that class, could I just leave it off my app and enter a different academic class in that spot (I don't have room to include all my classes anyway since I take almost 100% academic classes)? Do they look super closely at my transcript too? Any info you have would be great.

They don’t even look at your transcript until you decide to attend. They accept only a final transcript and nothing else.

You can’t leave a class off. If you get accepted and your transcript shows different class, your admission offer will be rescinded.

but i’m not making up a class… and I have to leave some off no matter what because there aren’t enough spaces for my academic classes.

What do you mean by don’t have room? You can type it up. Not sure what you mean by making it up. Anyway it is your choice.
From UC online application

NO, you cannot ignore it.

I mean your choice to ignore CC’s advice here and take the consequence if it does not turn out the way you want.

Okay, let me clarify my question:
My junior year, I took eight classes that fall under A-G
The application has spots for 7 spots for A-G classes for each year
I am going to have to leave one academic class off of that part anyway, so would leaving the one with the weakest grade off be beneficial (it will still show up on my transcript). Am I missing something-is there another place to enter academic classes on the online application and that is why everyone is so confused?
Hopefully that makes more sense…

I put 8 classes down for Junior year. There was no space limit.

There is no space limit as far as I can tell. You just type and add the class in.

Same problem! Because my transcript doesn’t distinguish between regular courses and summer courses, I have TWELVE grades for my grade 11 year. The app only allows 7 spaces (i had 8 regular classes anyway), should I put my top 7 there and put the rest in another category?

i figured out what i did wrong-i was only entering classes into “all subjects” on the dropdown menu. select individual subjects and you can enter more classes. i feel a little dumb right now, but at least i figured it out
thanks for the help everyone
